Hunting Rido (RP) Prologue

“Where are my favorite siblings?” Rika said happily. She saw Hikari running to her “Auntieee!!!” “Hi aunt.” Said Hotaru
“Well? nobody hugs me?” Chuckled their aunt,  Hikari hugged her tight. Rika hugged her back  “Hotaru… you ok?”
“Fever” he said.
“oh little one…” she said touching his forehead: it was burning up
“Come on... I’ll accompany you to bed ...” Rika picked up Hikari with an arm and with the free one took Hotaru by hand which he gladly took back
She brought him to her bed “hop on” Rika said smiling. After he did that she covered him till his little nose and sat by him cuddling her nephew
“Aunt...” he said while Hikari was staring at him. “yes?” Hotaru gripped at her hand. “what is it my little one?”
“Will mummy beat me if I won’t  recover?”
“Are you kidding? –she chuckled- don’t think strange things! Rika said touching the tip of his little nose.
He closed his eyes while she caressed him. “Hikari...could you call me Aidou?” her aunt asked
The little girl nodded and did as she was told to.
“I… love… you, aunt…” said weakly Hotaru. Rika laid down near him to cuddle him better.
Meanwhile Hikari went to tug Aidou to draw attention to her.
Hotaru wailed weakly
“Now I’m asking Aidou to make you some ice… ok?”
“k”  Aidou came at last: Lil’ sis… tell me
“He has quite a fever… could you make some ice cubes?”
“How much as you want sister.” He promptly answered
“forgive me if I’m exploiting you..
“Are you kidding??” he made some ice thanks to his vampire power.
“N-no brother...” she said shyly while taking a cloth
“He has some temperature again, hasn’t he?”
“yep” I answered sighing, it was twice in a row Hotaru had a temperature
“Poor little one…” meanwhile Hikari fell asleep still standing
Rika picked up her niece “How is your little one?”
“She recovered” Aidou smiled seeing Hikari sleeping “oh...how cute..”
“I’m glad..” Rika said embracing Hikari, “I’ll leave them sleep in my bed... do you mind if I come in your and Kain’s room?
“of course not...”  Rika approached the window and summoned Number 96 telling him to keep an eye on them. “Just let’s let them sleep”
Aidou accompanied her out of her room.
Suddenly Hotaru talked in his sleep “Help… help…” Number 96 shrank himself and entered the room, then he tried to soothe the child.
“Niisama (big brother) ...” Rika said tiredly
“uh?” Aidou looked at her
I’m soo tired out... I’m really sleepy
“then go to sleep, Rika-chan....” Rika shook her head “I can’t… I have to be watchful… for Kaname”
“There are Asia and Zero on patrol tonight.  You may rest peacefully” said Aidou lovingly
“I can…’t”  she fell from her tiredness
Aidou picked his little sister up:  “yes, you can ..” he brought her in his room
“Nii(brother)…”
“Go bye-byes..... and don’t make a fuss” Aidou made her go to sleep.
“But whose is this bed?” Rika asked tiredly
“mine…” he replied absentmindedly
The angel-girl shook her head energetically “I’ll sleep on the floor...”
“Stop it! You’ll sleep here.” He replied firmly “We are vampires and my baby is going to go to Hotaru… I think...”
“But she’s also a human!... she must sleep!” Rika answered worried
“If she will want to sleep, there’s uncle Kain’s bed...”
Jade appeared suddenly at the door “Daddy? May I go to Hotaru?”  she yawned widely
Rika replied “He is sleeping by now, my dear”. Aidou intervened “however if you want, you can go”
Jade smiled “but i want to sleep with you and uncle Kain later!” “Of course!”
The little girl squealed happily “I’ll go and come back, then” Jade went away hopping towards Hotaru. Meanwhile Aidou cuddles Rika laying down by her

-IN RIKA’S ROOM
“Hika...”  said simply Hotaru caressing her sister, then he decided to get up just when Jade entered the room “Hotaru where are you going... you have temperature!” “I’m not sleepy...”
Jade replied worried: “but you have to rest...”
“I sniffed your smell and…” but the little girl didn’t want to hear reasons “come on… go to sleep”
Hotaru wailed: “But… Hikari is already sleeping and I…”
Jade cut him: “… and you with her… the angel too is very tired, and now she is sleeping…”
The boy sighed in defeat: “Ok… but… s -stay with me…”
The little girl smiled: “alright Hotaru...”
